Joining Facebook and Facebook Safety
(otherwise called, ‘if you aren’t on Facebook yet you really should be’)

It took me a while to get into Facebook, I was concerned about Facebook safety amongst other things. However, as a writer and future online success, you really can’t afford to overlook the benefits of being involved, just make sure you set your own terms.

Journey to Ebook and Online Success – Join me

Like many other writers, I’ve been paying close but nervous attention to the advancement of technology, ebooks and social media over the years. Nervous, not because I don’t think it will become the norm, or because I think it brings with it numerous advantages, but because I know it will require me to live in a world where I am actively involved in technology.

Question: How do you feel once you’ve submitted work?

How do you feel about your work once you’ve submitted it for publication or to a competition? Are you anxious, waiting to hear back? Do you just forget about that piece of work and move on to the next? Or are you somewhere in between?

Competition closed – results to follow

Well, our First Line short story competition is officially closed. I have to say that I’m suitably impressed with the amount of people who chose to enter – certainly more than I expected for our first competition. So thank you to everyone who sent in a story.
