Elizabeth Bezant ~ Who am I?

tag:No Tags

Hi.

I always find answering the question, ‘who am I?’ a little daunting. After all, what is it that you really want to know? Is it that I’m happily married with children or that I’ve had books and articles published? Suffice to say that I have it all. (Yes, finally, someone who admits to having it all.) All have caused me moments of frustration in their creation, but I am grateful for each of them - in varying degrees.

For 3 years I had a column in the Perth newspaper, ‘Nova’, I also had a regular writing segment on 98.5fm for a year and could be seen on a couple of television shows doing regular writing segments.

My writing, primarily educational, inspirational or informative, has been published worldwide. But, the work I am most proud of is an ESL book published by ReadyEd in 2002,  stories published in anthologies like the best-sellers, ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ and ‘Chocolate for a Woman’s Courage’, and a variety of articles printed in English magazines and the Sunday Telegraph promoting the wonders of Western Australia.

In 2002, I started my own business, Writing to Inspire. Through it I coach, teach, speak, workshop, motivate and anything else writers and aspiring writers need to move closer to their writing goals. This includes creating a selection of workbooks (‘I Want To Write, But Don’t Know Where To Start’, ‘Effective Goal Setting For Writers’ and ‘Writing Your Life Story, but not necessarily your autobiography’), DVDs and writing extras.

In 2006, following the success of ‘Stolen Moments, inspiring and unforgettable stories from people living with Alzheimer’s’, a collection of stories that Pamela Eaves and I put together, we formed Life’s Inspirational Moments. A business that promises to inspire, inform and produce more collections of unforgettable true-life stories.

Is that enough?
